Shriver Hall Concert Hall
Johns Hopkins University - Homewood
3400 N. Charles Street
Since 2010, the Baltimore Dance Crews Project has been fortunate and appreciative to the students of Johns Hopkins University's hip-hop dance group, SLAM, for hosting a benefit concert to support our after school programming. The concert's contributions have helped BDCP send students on college tours, host the first I Can B'more Concert, and increase the number of students on auditioned youth teams. This year's concert marks the fifth time BDCP has been selected as the benefit concert's recipient. BDCP will focus all contributions to brining programs to new schools and new students. BDCP's mission is to continually advance access to hip-hop dance opportunities to connect, engage, and empower youth.
The concert invites hip-hop dance groups from across the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC region to provide a showcase that celebrates the diverse talents of the hip-hop dance community. Every year the performers showcase performances that not only entertain but also inspire and educate audiences on the transformational power of hip-hop dance.
This year BDCP is proud to debut its new auditioned team structure: BDCP Junior Varsity, BDCP Seniors, and BDCP Collective. See past performances below.
